Date With Mommy Cool

TiendesitasYesterday lunchtime, my friend and I met my new mom Norrie and her daughter Charri at Ever Pasig. Our initial plan was to meet in Ever then we would go to San Jacinto to have our lunch. At Ever Pasig, we met Mommy Cool and her daughter at Human. We took a cab to San Jacinto. Ironically, the cab has no air-conditioning and we were all sweating on the hottest time of the day.

At San Jacinto Restaurant (which is just on the opposite side of SM Pasig), I felt a bit awkward entering the restaurant. It looks high class and I’m a bit worried that I would spend a lot of money. We ordered for our drinks first then we had a tough time in choosing our meals.

We had garlic rice, Beef with baby corn and mushrooms, San Jacinto Beef and rice toppings. It was almost 1:30 in the afternoon so I was literally starving. My back is wet from sweat and I was cooling off from the air-conditioning system at my back.

While we were having our lunch, Mommy Cool ordered for a Bird’s Nest soup coz I thought they serve soups for free. Anyway, the serving is quite little for a single person when it cost hundred pesos up. At least it tasted good and I was full when I left the restaurant.

After having our lunch, we went to SM Pasig where we just strolled to the entrance of Tiendesitas. I just had a hard time using the MMDA footbridge to SM Pasig coz my calves ached a lot from the jumping rope that I did last Friday.
